Whispers in the morning…

The birds are singing in unison. Its a beautiful composed melody of their own. I feel a gentle breeze tossing through my hair. It flows freely in several directions. I can sense your presence is near without saying a word. Your soft invisible hugs nudge me to solitude. It brings me peace and comfort. This gives me reassurance that you are okay in the afterlife. I enjoyed having my coffee while watching you do your word search puzzles. I pretend you are sitting on the love seat like you did every day. I extend my laptop so you can see the nice pictures of scenery that you like to see.

The cardinals come looking towards my direction. They chirp their hello and off they go flying into the trees. I miss the hummingbird. He was our shared experience. We watched him feed then rest his weary wings on the clothes line. The bright yellowed finch came after the blue jay. They both visited the feeder on a daily basis. The rainbow of bird colors were much appreciated that brought happiness to our souls. We never did see the red winged blackbird or baltimore oriole but we both hoped one day they would appear.

My coffee is now empty. Thank you for your time mum and for sending down the angels to keep me safe. Until tomorrow I love you I miss you.

I need a tissue.

Do you talk to your loved ones that passed on? Do you ever get sensations that you can’t explain?
